If you’ve got a charity ride, corporate event, or wellness initiative on the horizon, getting your custom cycling kit sorted is a key step. But how long does the whole process actually take?
Here’s what to expect — and how to make sure everything rolls out on time.
🕐 Average Lead Time: 6–8 Weeks
Most suppliers (including us!) recommend allowing 6–8 weeks from final design sign-off to delivery. That gives enough time for production, quality checks, and shipping — without rushing the process.
But there's more to the timeline than just manufacturing.
🧩 The 5 Stages of Custom Kit Production
1. Initial Enquiry & Brief (1–2 Days)
This is where we get to know your team, goals, budget, and timeline. We’ll ask questions like:
How many riders?
What sort of event is it?
What kind of kit do you need (jerseys, bibs, accessories)?
Do you have a brand guide or existing artwork?
2. Design Phase (1–2 Weeks)
We’ll create initial concepts based on your brief — usually within a few days. Then we refine until it’s just right. We build in time for feedback loops because we want you to love the result, not just approve it.
3. Sizing & Order Confirmation (1–2 Weeks)
Once the design is locked, we’ll sort out sizes. We can help with:
Sizing guides
Fit kits for trying on
Advice for mixed-ability or mixed-gender teams
This is also when we confirm quantities and get your green light to start production.
4. Production (4 Weeks)
Your kit goes into production — ethically and responsibly, of course. Every item is made to order, using sustainable materials and fair labour practices.
5. Shipping & Delivery (1 Week)
Once everything’s ready, we ship your kit via tracked courier. We’ll confirm delivery details and make sure everything arrives in plenty of time.
⚠️ Things That Can Delay the Process
Delayed artwork or design approvals
Last-minute changes to quantities
Slow sizing responses
Our advice? Start early and keep communication flowing. We’re here to make it smooth.
Need your kit sooner? We’ll always do what we can — just get in touch and we’ll talk timelines.
In summary:Allow 8-10 weeks for the full process, and factor in time for decision-making on your side too. Your corporate cycling kit is a key part of your event — and with the right planning, it’ll arrive stress-free, look incredible, and be something your team wants to wear again and again.
